    2012 Halcyon Primavera Parlor
    Primavera / Lutz
    Serial #12

Halcyon guitars are wonderful sounding luthier guitars handmade by Ed Bond in Vancouver, BC.  Ed came out of the Larrivee custom factory in Vancouver overseeing and producing many thousands of guitars, and has now made hundreds of his own Halcyon and Tinker custom guitars.

Honouring the natural beauty of their raw materials, Halcyon are elegant and minimalist with an emphasis on tone and playability.  By keeping appointments modest, Halcyon guitars sound and play like instruments that should be much more expensive than they are.

This is a Halcyon Parlor in Primavera with Lutz Spruce top, and ebony fingerboard and bridge.  Used but in excellent condition.

Primavera is a tonewood sometimes used in Flamenco guitars and provides this Parlor with a nice bite when played hard, and sensitivity and detail at low volume.  Hand rubbed micro thin satin finish.

It is 1-3/4” at the nut, a 32nd under 2-1/4” string spacing at the saddle, and 12 frets to the body.

Bone nut and hand carved intonated bone saddle.

This guitar was upgraded at production with Waverly open back tuners and a K&K Pure Mini passive pickup utilizing an endpin jack.

    Frets are like new.

Includes a high quality hardcase with dark green crushed velour interior.

*Please note all prices are in Canadian dollars, which is approximately 20% cheaper for US customers due to the higher US dollar.
